Repair Procedures: Removal

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Remove the luggage mat assembly.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "TRUNK TRIM ")
Remove the luggage under cover (A).

Disconnect the battery (-) terminal (A).
Tightening torque:

3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft)

Disconnect the battery (+) terminal (A).
Tightening torque:

7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb-ft)

Disconnect the bent hose (A).

Remove the battery mounting bracket (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

27.5 - 33.3 N.m (2.8 - 3.4 kgf.m, 20.3 - 24.6 lb-ft)

Remove the battery.
