Visual Check

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
  2. Connect to the GDS and clear the DTC.
  3. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  4. Connect and set the vehicle to "Vehicle Lift" and lift it safely (Refer to LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS ).
  5. Check the installation of 4WD ECU if it is clogged (contaminated) by dirt or leaves:

    Such as foreign substance around connector.

    If it is, clear them.

  6. Keep the engine ON.
  7. If DTC returns, replace 4WD ECU (* Refer to the procedure of replacing 4WD ECU - REPAIR PROCEDURES )

    * (Replacing 4WD ECU) S/W Management: Back-up/input learning value and conduct "TC Clutch Calibration".
