Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Tighten the power trunk control unit mounting bolts.
  2. Connect the power trunk motor connector.
  3. Install the push rod in the hinge ball joint.

    Tightening torque:  21.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.9 - 19. 5 lb-ft)

  4. Connect the power trunk control unit connectors.
  5. Install the luggage side trim [LH].
  6. Check that the power trunk operates normally after connecting the negative (-) battery terminal.
    NOTE:
    • Make sure that the connectors are plugged in properly.
    • Check that the power trunk operates normally.
    • When changing the trunk module and drive unit, always perform the parameter saving process.
    • Always check for normal operation when a power trunk module related part is changed.
    • When abnormal system operation is found, check the DTC Code and the connection of the wiring and cable.
