Removal And Installation
NOTE:
- Install the component to the specified torques.
- If a part is dropped, replace it with a new one and discard the dropped part as invisible damage may be caused.
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the engine room cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE COVER ")
- Disconnected the ECM connector (A).
- After removing the ECM bracket installation nuts (A), remove the ECM bracket assembly.
Tightening torque:
0.9 - 1.2 N.m (8.8 - 11.8 kgf.m, 6.5 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- After removing the installation nuts (A), remove the ECM from the bracket.
Tightening torque:
0.9 - 1.2 N.m (8.8 - 11.8 kgf.m, 6.5 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
