Removal And Installation
NOTE:
- Install the component with the specified torques.
- Note that internal damage may occur when the component is dropped. If the component has been dropped, inspect before installing.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Release the residual pressure in fuel line.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")
NOTE:- When removing the fuel pump relay, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may occur. Delete the code with the diagnostic tool after completion of "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line" work.
- Remove the RH air cleaner.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the RH injector form.
- Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector (A).
- Remove the rail pressure sensor (B) from the delivery pipe.
Tightening torque:
30.4 - 35.3 N.m (3.1 - 3.6 kgf.m, 22.4 - 26.0 lb-ft)
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
