Power Trunk Lid Drive Unit: Installation
- Tighten the power trunk module & drive unit mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:
21.6 - 26.5 N.m (2.2 - 2.7 kgf.m, 15.9 - 19. 5 lb-ft)
- Connect the control unit connectors.
- Install the power trunk Lid spring.
- Install the luggage side trim [LH].
- Check that the power trunk operates normally after connecting the negative (-) battery terminal.
Information
- Make sure that the connectors are plugged in properly.
- Check that the power tailgate operates normally.
CAUTION:- If the drive unit mounting bolt gets lost and it still remains inside the chassis, the rattling noise caused by the bolt may lead to customer complaints.
- Reset the power trunk module whenever a job is performed with the battery removed.
- Always check for normal operation when a power trunk module related part is changed.
When abnormal system operation is found, check the DTC Code and the connection of the wiring and cable.
