Canister Close Valve (CCV): Inspection
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnected canister close valve connector.
- Measure resistance between the canister close valve terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the resistance is within the specification.
Specification: 19.5 - 22.5 [20°C (68°F)]
- Disconnect the vapor hose connected with the canister from the CCV.
- Connect a vacuum pump to the nipple.
- Apply vacuum to the valve with the battery power (B +) applied.
Specification: Vacuum maintained
