Repair Procedures: Removal
- Release the Residual Pressure in Fuel Line.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")
- Switch "OFF" the ignition and disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the Intake Manifold.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")
- Remove the delivery pipe foam (A).
- Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector (A)
- Remove the rail pressure sensor (B) from the delivery pipe.
Tightening torque:
17.6 - 21.5 N.m (1.8 - 2.2 kgf.m, 13.0 - 15.9 lb-ft)
