Repair Procedures: Installation
- Install in the reverse order of removal.NOTE:
- When tightening the high pressure fuel pipe flange nut, use a special tool (09314-3V100) or a wrench torque wrench.
- Do not reuse the used injector fixing clip.
- Do not reuse the used high pressure fuel pipe.
- Careful not to deform the high pressure fuel pipe shape.
- Do not tilt the torque wrench when tightening the nut.
- Observe the work order and tightening torque when assembling.
- After assembly of the high pressure fuel pipe, check for leaks.
[GDI Injector]- When removing/re-installing the injector, be careful not to allow the foreign substances to enter the cylinder.
- If foreign substances has entered the cylinder/intake manifold, immediately remove them.
- When removing/re-installing the injector, clean the cylinder head hole (removal of carbon deposits using a brush).
- re-install the injector after replacing/assembling the consumable parts among the injector components using the HDEV 6 toolset.
- Remove the fixing ring when re-installing the injector.
- Be careful not to apply oil/grease/lubricant to the injector tip seal.
- Apply engine oil to the injector O-ring.
- Do not use the dropped part.
- When inserting the injector, be careful not to damage the end of the injector.
- When inserting the support disc, inserting the support disk so that the slanted surfaces are in contact with each other.
