AWD Ecu: Removal
CAUTION:
In case of replacing the controller (ECU) and transfer case due to changing characteristics of the frictional materials inside the transfer case, it is necessary to check and enter the calibration data.

- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the floor console.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the front seat assembly. [RH]
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the cowl side trim. [RH]
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "COWL SIDE TRIM ")
- Remove the center pillar lower trim.
(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "CENTER PILLAR TRIM ")
- Remove the rear duct (A).
- Pull the carpet (A) and then disconnect the AWD ECU connector (B).
- Loosen the nuts and then removing the AWD ECU (A).
