Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the tailgate trim.

    (Refer to Liftgate Trim Body - "Tailgate Trim")

  3. Separate the connector, loosen the mounting screws and then remove the power tailgate latch.
