Throttle Position Sensor (TPS): Remove/Install/Overhaul: Installation

If wiring harness was removed from coupler, insert wires into coupler.
Install throttle position sensor so its adjusting holes slightly cover mounting bolt holes. See Figure . Turn sensor so mounting holes align. Install sensor mounting bolts and finger tighten only.
Clamp wiring harness securely to side of throttle body. Connect battery. Adjust TPS. Tighten mounting bolts to 31 INCH lbs. (3.5 N.m). To adjust throttle position sensor, see ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article in this section.
