Code 14, Ignition Signal Circuit No Signal: Notes
The ECM receives a 12-volt signal from the ignitor on ECM terminal "IGF". If this signal is not present 4 times during cranking, Code 14 will set. The ECM uses this signal to pulse the fuel injector.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
- This verifies voltage supply to ignition coil.
- This verifies condition of "IGT" circuit.
- This verifies condition of "IGF" circuit.
