Fuel-Cut System (Spectrum)

With engine at normal operating temperature and idling, connect voltmeter across terminals of slow cut solenoid. Increase engine speed to more than 3000 RPM and release accelerator pedal. If engine speed is less than 2300 RPM, battery voltage should be present. If engine speed is more than 2300 RPM, zero volts should be present.
