Throttle Position Sensor (TPS): Inspection
- Remove carburetor. Attach ohmmeter leads to Green wire and Black wire of TPS. Move throttle to the 1/3 open position. Ohmmeter indicator should indicate no continuity.
- Slowly begin closing throttle. Ohmmeter indicator should indicate continuity when throttle valve-to-throttle bore reaches .015 (.38 mm) for models with A/T and .011" for models with M/T See Figure .
