Code 22, Fuel Cut-Off Relay Circuit Open Or Grounded

The fuel cut-off solenoid is energized by the fuel cut-off relay with ignition switch in the "ON" position. When ignition is turned off, the fuel cut-off solenoid is de-energized and fuel is immediately cut off to prevent dieseling. Using the signal from the idle switch, the ECM will shut off fuel when it senses a coasting condition after off-idle condition.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.

This checks if Code 22 is intermittent.
This determines if relay or ECM circuits are faulty.
