Steering Column: Installation

  1. Place wheels in a straight-ahead position. Align and install flat part of steering gear shaft with bolt hole in universal coupling. See Figure .
  2. Finger tighten universal coupling pinch bolt. First, tighten lower column bracket nuts and then upper column bracket nuts. Tighten steering coupling pinch bolt.
  3. Install combination switch and steering wheel. Connect ignition switch and combination switch harness connectors. Install joint cover.
