Fuel Injector (Tracker)
- If engine will not run, proceed to step 2). Listen for operational noise from fuel injectors. Increase and decrease engine speed. Cycling sound of injectors should increase and decrease with engine speed.
- Turn ignition off. Remove air filter. Start engine and ensure that fuel spray of injector is a good conical shape. See Fig 1
. Disconnect injector connector. Measure resistance across injector terminals. At room temperature, resistance should be 1.0-2.0 ohms. If resistance is not within specification, replace injector.
