Ignition Coil Resistance (Spectrum)

Remove distributor cap and rotor. Remove primary leads from ignition coil. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between primary terminals of coil. See Fig 1 .
Check secondary resistance between coil secondary terminal and primary positive terminal. Replace coil if readings are not within specifications. See IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE table.
