Fuel Pressure Release
- Remove main fuse box cover and engine coolant reservoir from bracket. Remove main fuse box attaching screws. From underneath fuse box, release 2 locking tabs of fuel pump relay. See Fig 1
for fuel pump relay location.
- Disengage fuel pump relay from fusebox and then remove harness connector. Loosen fuel filler cap to relieve tank pressure. Start engine and idle until engine dies. Crank engine for 30 seconds to ensure fuel line pressure is dissipated. Turn off ignition. Install fuel pump relay.
