Combination Switch: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. On Convertible, ensure reference mark on SIR coil and steering shaft are aligned and wheels are straight-ahead.
  2. To activate SIR system, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect Yellow 2-pin connector and CPA clip at back of steering wheel. Connect negative battery cable. Install access cover at back of steering wheel. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Observe INFLATABLE RESTRAINT indicator. INFLATABLE RESTRAINT indicator light should blink 7 times and then go out.
