IAC Reset Procedure

ECM automatically resets IAC once each ignition cycle when vehicle is driven at speeds greater than 30 MPH. To reset IAC, warm engine to normal operating temperature. Turn ignition off. Start engine and drive vehicle at speed greater than 30 MPH. If ECM is unable to control idle speed within normal count range after the reset procedure, ECM assumes the relearn procedure failed. ECM will then repeat relearn procedure until pintle position is relearned.
