Combination Switch: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure reference mark on SIR coil and steering shaft are aligned and wheels are straight-ahead.
  2. After all components are installed, reconnect Orange 3-wire connector, near base of steering column. Install SIR fuses and reconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition on. Ensure Inflatable Restraint light, in lower left corner of instrument panel, flashes 7-9 times and then goes out.
