Engine Start Signal

Engine start signal, sent from starter circuit, is used by ECM to determine whether engine is cranking or not. Using this signal, ECM calculates fuel injection timing, idle speed control, throttle opener and Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) operation (Tracker A/T).
