Chart C-1, ECM Circuit Resistance Check

When replacing a faulty ECM, check resistance between terminals of the disconnected ECM connectors listed below with the ignition switch in the OFF position. If any of the following circuits are shorted, the replacement ECM could become damaged.

Circuit ECM Connector Terminals Ohms
Control Relay G16-440 (1) 114-140
EGR VSV Throttle Opener VSV G5-G14 70-80
Fuel Injector G8-G17 1-2
ISC Solenoid Valve G6-G15 5-7
Lock-Up Relay PTC Heater Relay Y10-Y11 180-220
(1) Control relay connector (relay connected) circuit No. 440 (Black/White wire), terminal "F" of control relay.
