Ignition Coil Resistance
- Remove protective coil cap and disconnect secondary wire from coil. Remove primary wires from ignition coil. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between primary terminals of coil.
- Check secondary resistance between coil secondary terminal and primary positive terminal. Replace coil if readings are not within specifications. See IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE table.
