Fuel Delivery: Notes

NOTE: For fuel system pressure testing, see BASIC TESTING article.
CAUTION: Automatic transaxle Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is mounted on left side of steering column. DO NOT confuse ECU with ECM. The ECU has a 16-pin and 20-pin connectors. The ECM has a 24-pin and 32-pin connectors. ECM is located left of instrument panel or in left kick panel.
NOTE: Following procedure applies if Code 24 is stored in ECM only (not transaxle Electronic Control Unit (ECU) on 4-speed applications) or when incorrect input from vehicle speed sensor is suspected.
