Throttle Switch

Disconnect electrical connector from throttle position switch. Loosen throttle switch retaining screws. Insert a .028" (.71 mm) feeler gauge between throttle lever and stop screw. Using ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between terminals E2 and IDL on throttle switch. See Fig 1 .
Remove feeler gauge and insert a .032" (.81 mm) feeler gauge. Ensure no continuity exists between both terminals. Adjust throttle switch as necessary. Hold throttle switch and tighten retaining screws. Recheck throttle switch adjustment. Reconnect electrical connection.
