Non-California Vehicles

The CHECK ENGINE light will automatically flash at 50,000, 80,000 and 100,000 miles on a warmed up, running engine. This does not indicate a system fault; however, it does indicate that system inspection and/or system component replacement is required. After necessary services have been performed, turn off CHECK ENGINE light by moving cancel switch to opposite position. Cancel switch is located behind steering column lower trim panel.

50,000 Miles -  Replace PCV valve, inspect EGR system, and replace O2 sensor (Canadian).

80,000 Miles -  Replace O2 sensor (Federal).

100,000 Miles -  Replace PCV valve, inspect catalytic converter for plugging, inspect EGR system, replace O2 sensor (Canadian), replace charcoal canister, and inspect ECM and related sensors.
