BELT ADJUSTMENT (1)

Application (2) Belt Deflection
A/C Compressor .20-.25" (5.1-6.4 mm)
Alternator .20-.27" (5.1-7.0 mm)
Water Pump .25-.35" (6.4-8.9 mm)
(1) Check belts by usint belt deflection gauge.
(2) Deflection is with 22 lbs. (10 kg) pressure applied midway on longest belt run.
