Air Valve
- Remove throttle body assembly from intake manifold. Separate upper and lower bodies. Place sensing portion of air valve in water. See Fig 1 .
- Heat water to 176°F (80°C). Ensure air valve fully closes. Air valve should be open when cool. Replace air valve if it is defective. Reassemble throttle body, and tighten screws to 31 INCH lbs. (3.5 N.m).
