Throttle Position Switch: Notes

NOTE: To identify throttle position switch terminals, see Figure.
THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH CONTINUITY

Condition (1) Continuity Reading
Between Terminals E2 & IDL (2) Continuity
Between Terminals E2 & IDL (3) No Continuity
(1) Rotate throttle switch to obtain correct continuity.
(2) With .028" (.71 mm) feeler gauge installed between throttle stop screw and lever, check continuity between terminal E2 (Brown wire) and terminal IDL (Blue wire).
(3) With .032" (.81 mm) feeler gauge installed between throttle stop screw and lever.
