Code 14, Ignition Signal Circuit, No Signal: Notes

ECM sends voltage signal to the igniter through ECM terminal "IGF". If this signal is not present 4 consecutive times during cranking, Code 14 will set. ECM uses this signal to pulse the fuel injector.

1. Verifies voltage from ignition coil.
2. Checks voltage from ECM.
3. Checks for open in Black wire between ignition coil and igniter.
4. Checks for power to ignition coil or for a faulty ignition coil.
5. Checks for an open or short to ground in Black/Yellow wire or for faulty ECM.
