Throttle Position Sensor

Disconnect TPS electrical connection. Install proper thickness feeler gauge between stop screw and lever. Using ohmmeter, check continuity or resistance between designated terminals. Adjust or replace TPS if not within specification. See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) RESISTANCE .

⁽¹⁾	Sensor is not adjustable. Apply 5 volts to Blue/Orange wire terminal. With Black/White wire grounded, voltage should be less than 1.25 volts at Blue/Red wire at idle and approximately 5 volts at wide open throttle.
