Diagnostic Aids
A poor connection or "shifted" EGR temperature sensor could cause Code 32 to set. To check for a "shifted" sensor, monitor sensor resistance at ambient temperature with a DVOM connected to EGR temperature sensor Gray/Blue and Black wires. Start engine and note resistance change in sensor as engine warms up. Replace EGR temperature sensor if resistance is not as specified. See EGR TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE .
