Air Valve
- Remove throttle body assembly from intake manifold. Separate upper and lower bodies. Place sensing portion of air valve in water. See Fig 1 .
- Heat water to 176°F (80°C). Ensure air valve fully closes. Air valve should be open when cool. Replace air valve if it is defective. Reassemble throttle body. Tighten screws to 31 INCH lbs. (3.5 N.m).
