Diagnostic Aids

A poor connection or "shifted" EGR temperature sensor could cause Code 32 to set. To check for a "shifted" sensor, monitor sensor resistance at ambient temperature with a DVOM connected to EGR temperature sensor Gray/Blue and Black wires. Start engine and note resistance change in sensor as engine warms up. Replace EGR temperature sensor if resistance is not as specified. See TEMPERATURE-TO-RESISTANCE VALUES table.
