Clearing Codes

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable, or remove 30-amp main fuse in underhood fuse/relay block, for at least 30 seconds. ECM fault code memory is now clear. Connect negative battery cable or install 30-amp main fuse. If negative battery cable is removed to clear ECM memory, clock and radio memory will also be erased.
