(1) Under normal driving conditions.
(2) Change A/T cooler hoses at 45,000 miles.
(3) Change at 7500 miles and then every 30,000 miles thereafter.
BELT ADJUSTMENT

Application (1) Belt Deflection
A/C Compressor .20-.25" (5.1-6.4 mm)
Alternator
New Belt .20-.27" (5.1-7.0 mm)
Used Belt (2) .24-.31" (6.1-8.0 mm)
P/S Pump .24-.35" (6.1-8.9 mm)
Water Pump .20-.32" (5.1-8.1 mm)
(1) Deflection is with 22 lbs. (10 kg) pressure applied midway on longest belt run.
(2) Used belt is a belt in operation for more than 5 minutes.
