If no faults were found while performing BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES, go to TESTS W/CODES - 1.3L 4-CYL article. If no hard codes are found in self-diagnostics, refer to the appropriate TESTS W/O CODES - 1.0L 3-CYL article for diagnosis by symptom (i.e. ROUGH IDLE, HARD START, HESITATION, etc.) or intermittent diagnostic procedures.
