Driver-Side Air Bag Inflator Module: Installation
- Inspect air bag inflator module for cracked deployment cover, damaged harness or evidence of physical damage (module dropped etc.).
- Fit inflator module on steering wheel and install mounting bolts. Ensure inflator module is aligned. Tighten inflator module bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect 2 horn wire connectors. Reconnect negative battery cable. Enable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
