Functional Test

NOTE: If vehicle does not function as specified, go to appropriate symptom test under SYMPTOM TESTS  .
  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Depress left front window switch in left front power window/door lock switch to DOWN position and then pull to UP position. Left front window should open and then close.
  2. Depress right front window switch in left front power window/door lock switch to DOWN position and then pull to UP position. Right front window should open and then close.
  3. Depress left rear power window switch in left front power window/door lock switch to DOWN position and then pull to UP position. Left rear window should open and then close.
  4. Depress right rear power window switch in left front power window/door lock switch to DOWN position and then pull to UP position. Right rear window should open and then close.
  5. Depress right front power window switch in right front door to DOWN position and then pull to UP position. Right front window should open and then close.
  6. Depress left rear power window switch in left rear door to DOWN position and then pull to UP position. Left rear window should open and then close.
  7. Depress right rear power window switch in right rear door to DOWN position and then pull to UP position. Right rear window should open and then close.
  8. Depress window lock switch in left front power window/door lock switch to LOCK position. Open and close all windows using left front power window/door lock switch and then each individual window switch located in each door. Left front window should open and then close. All other windows should not operate.
  9. Firmly depress left front window switch in left front power window/door lock switch to DOWN position and release. Left front window should open automatically to fully open position.
  10. After performing appropriate symptom test(s) and making repairs, repeat FUNCTIONAL TEST to ensure system is operational.
