Right Rear Window Does Not Open With Either Right Rear Power Window Switch Depressed
- Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using test light, backprobe between right rear door power window switch connector terminal No. 2 (Yellow wire) and ground. Depress right rear power window switch in left front power window/door lock switch to DOWN position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, check for open in Yellow wire. If Yellow wire is okay, replace left front power window/door lock switch.
- Using test light, backprobe between right rear door power window motor connector terminal No. 1 (Red wire) and ground. Depress right rear power window switch in left front power window/door lock switch to DOWN position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, check for open in Green wire between right rear door power window switch and right rear power window motor. If Green wire is okay, replace right rear door power window switch.
- Turn ignition to LOCK position. Disconnect right rear power window motor connector. Using test light, backprobe between right rear power window motor connector terminal No. 2 (Green wire) and battery voltage. Ensure both right rear power window switches are released. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, replace right rear door power window motor.
- Using test light, backprobe between right rear door power window switch connector terminal No. 4 (Red/Black wire) and battery voltage. Ensure both right rear power window switches are released. If test light does not illuminate, check for open in Red/Black wire. If Red/Black wire is okay, replace left front power window/door lock switch. If test light illuminates, check for open in Yellow wire between right rear door power window switch and right rear door power window motor. If Yellow wire is okay, replace right rear door power window switch.
