DTC A095 - Brake Switch Circuit Open: Notes

EBCM is able to recognize an open brake stoplight switch circuit which would prevent input to the EBCM from changing status when the brake is applied. DTC A095 is used in conjunction with DTCs A091 and A092 to determine the cause of the open circuit.

1. Confirms an open in the stoplight circuit currently exists.
2. Indicates if the stoplight switch signal is being received by the EBCM.
3. Indicates if an open circuit exists in the stoplight switch or stoplight switch circuitry.
4. Isolates the open circuit to either the stoplight switch input circuitry or the EBCM.
