Key Lock System: Prizm

The ignition key lock system prevents ignition key from being turned to LOCK position until gear selector lever is returned to "P" position. Ignition key lock solenoid is energized by shift lock control module whenever ignition switch is in ON or ACC position, and shift lock control switch is depressed or gear selector lever is in any position other than "P". The shift lock control module and ignition key lock solenoid are permanently grounded.
