Engine Diesels, Run-On

If engine continues to run after ignition is turned off (to LOCK position), check the following items:

• If engine runs smoothly, check ignition switch.
• Perform VISUAL/PHYSICAL INSPECTION  .
• Check for leaking fuel injectors.
• Check for excessive fuel additives (high percentage of alcohol).
• Check for correct idle speed.
• Check for engine overheating.
