Stator Test

  1. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between stator leads. Perform STEP 1. See Fig 1. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms between stator leads, replace stator.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between stator leads and stator core. Perform STEP 2. See Fig 1. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace stator.
