(1) Under normal driving conditions.
(2) Inspect timing belt after 30,000 miles.
(3) Fluid does not require changing except under severe service. Under severe service, change fluid and service filter every 50,000 miles.
DRIVE BELT ADJUSTMENT

Application (1) Belt Deflection
A/C Compressor .28-.35" (7.0-9.0 mm)
Generator/Water Pump
New Belt .20-.27" (5.1-7.0 mm)
Used Belt (2) .24-.31" (6.1-8.0 mm)
P/S Pump .28-.35" (7.0-9.0 mm)
(1) Deflection is with 22 lbs. (10 kg) pressure applied midway on longest belt run.
(2) Used belt is belt in operation for more than 5 min.
