Steering Column: Description

All models are equipped with collapsible steering column, and are equipped with driver- and passenger-side air bag system. Upper and lower column sections are joined by a "U" joint. The upper column sliding section compresses on impact. The column lower end connects to the steering gear pinion flange with a flexible coupling.
