System Testing
- Disconnect vacuum hose No. 20 at metal tubing manifold. With ignition off, apply vacuum to hose using vacuum pump. Vacuum should hold steady.
- If vacuum does not hold steady, check for voltage at cranking leak solenoid valve. If there is no voltage, replace cranking leak solenoid valve and retest. If voltage is present, go to next step.

- With vacuum pump still attached and showing steady vacuum, turn ignition switch to "START" position. Vacuum should bleed off.
- If vacuum remains steady, check for voltage at cranking leak solenoid valve, with ignition switch in "START" position.
- Voltage should not be present. If voltage is present, replace cranking leak solenoid valve.
